Restaurant burglary suspect sought by Crime Stoppers

HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and Houston Police Department investigators are searching for the business burglary suspect caught on camera during a brazen morning burglary at an area restaurant.

On Friday, May 31, an unidentified male forced entry into an Indian restaurant located on the 13100 block of Westheimer.

The suspect entered through the back door of the kitchen at approximately 7:45 a.m., and was immediately captured by store surveillance equipment.

The suspect made his way through the restaurant gathering numerous bottles of alcohol and approximately $100 in cash before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspect is between 25-35 years of age, of an average height and weight, with a distinctive tattoo on his right arm. At the time of the offense, the suspect wore a white cut-off t-shirt, red shorts, and is shown carrying an unidentified package in his right hand.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspect in this case.
