HOUSTON—Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in finding out who killed 21-year-old Dominick Jermaine Kelly on October 1.
Police said Kelly was in a car with three friends at the Wheatley Manor apartments located in the 5200 block of Market Street around 9:50 p.m.
He and his friends were approached by two men who demanded their wallets at gunpoint. Three of the victims complied and fled the scene after they were robbed, but Kelly did not immediately comply, according to police. He was shot and died at the scene.
Police said the suspects fled in a black car described as either a Jaguar or a Mitsubishi.
