FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Three men have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries in five Houston-area counties, deputies said.
Vincent White, 21; Floyd Baker, 22; and Dennis Rivers, 25; were all in custody Monday.
Fort Bend County investigators were contacted by the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office about an arrest warrant for a Fort Bend resident. When Wharton County investigators talked to the suspect, they said he identified the two other men.
Fort Bend investigators got involved and found that two of the burglaries linked to the suspects were in Fort Bend – one at a home on Boothline Road and the other at a home in the FM 359 area.
The other cases connected to the suspects were in Colorado, Austin, Waller and Wharton counties.
White, who is from the Brookshire area, was arrested on February 16, 2012.
He was being held in the Wharton County Jail.
Baker, of Sugar Land, was arrested on February 20, 2012 and was being held in the Fort Bend County Jail.
Rivers was already in prison on a parole violation charge when the burglary charges were filed.
