HOUSTON—Investigators are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a department store in Houston.
The holdup happened on June 19 at a store in the 11700 block of Westheimer.
Police said the suspect entered the store around 7:30 p.m. and started shopping in the men’s department.
After selecting some merchandise, he walked to a register with several articles of clothing draped over his shoulder.
Police said he showed the cashier a gun in his right hand and demanded money.
After the cashier handed over the money, the suspect walked out of the store.
No one was injured.
Police describe the suspect as a man with a medium to heavy build who appears to be in his 30s or 40s.
He was wearing khaki pants, a black shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and a black baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
The incident was captured by security cameras at the store.
