SPRING, Texas – Investigators say a raid at a Spring man’s home turned up a stash of digital child-pornography images, and now that man is facing charges.

Gregory Prevost, 28, is charged with possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, detectives with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office ran across an IP address in Spring sharing what appeared to be child-porn files during an investigation into online child-porn trafficking last year.

Investigators traced that IP address to Prevost’s home.

On November 4, 2011, a search warrant was executed at the home, and Prevost’s computer was seized.

Investigators said Prevost admitted to viewing, downloading and sharing the illicit material, some of which depicted children in sadomasochistic situations.

Investigators said numerous child-porn images were found on the computer during a forensic analysis.

Charges were filed against Prevost on February 13, 2012.  He was arrested at his place of employment in The Woodlands on February 14, and was being held in the Harris County Jail on $60,000 bond.
