HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and HPD investigators are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a grocery store courtesy booth.
It happened in the 200 block of W. 20th Street on Sept. 9.
Police said the suspect walked into the store around 2:30 p.m. and waited in line at the booth. When it was his turn, police said he lifted up his shirt -- revealing a gun -- and demanded money.
Once the clerk put the money in the suspect’s bag, he left the store and fled in a gold Pontiac Grand Prix.
Police said the suspect may be responsible for a similar robbery at a grocery store in the 1000 block of N. Shepherd on October 25.
