HOUSTON – Charges have been filed in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old runaway last year.
Octavis Bledsoe, 22, is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
According to court documents, Bledsoe picked the victim up on December 20, 2011, and told her he’d take her to a home she was staying at while she was a runaway.
But instead, the victim said Bledsoe took her to his house and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.
She later made outcry to her mother, and they called the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The main investigator gave a description of the suspect to patrol deputies, who recognized him as Bledsoe.
Investigators said when they showed the victim a photo lineup that included Bledsoe, she picked him out as the man who attacked her.
Charges were filed on July 6, 2012.
