HOUSTON—Crime Stoppers and robbery investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at a Bank of America ATM.
On Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at approximately 8:15 p.m., investigators said the victim was at a drive-through ATM in the 3100 block of Fry Road when he was approached by the suspect.
Investigators said the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened to kill him before stealing his cash, credit cards, cell phone and the keys to his truck and house.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect exiting a white SUV, possibly a Chevy Yukon. Cameras also captured a star tattoo on the suspect’s left hand, between the thumb and index finger.
The suspect is described as a black male between 20-30 years of age. He’s about 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall and was clean shaven at the time of the robbery.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
