HOUSTON—The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says robbery was likely the motive in a murder at a Houston-area motel.
Deputies were called to the Intown Suites in the 16900 block of Rolling Creek around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived, they found Zachary Rushing, 23, dead in one of the rooms.
Investigators said he’d been shot multiple times.
"Such a happy person and everybody that knew him loved him. And I love him so much. It hurts so bad that someone could do this to him," his wife, Erica Williams said.
Investigators are hoping the public can lead them to Rushing’s killer or killers.
