FRIENDSWOOD, Texas—A Sonic on FM 528 was targeted in an early morning robbery Sunday, police said.
A Sonic employee told police a black Cadillac placed an order at the drive-thru window around 6 a.m.
When the employee exited the building to deliver the order, they told investigators the driver pulled a gun and demanded money.
The employee said they went back inside, got money out of the safe and gave it to the driver.
They said a second suspect followed them into the restaurant during the robbery.
The suspects fled in the Cadillac, possibly turning north on W. Bay Area Blvd.
No one was injured.
Police said it wasn’t clear exactly how much money was taken.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Friendswood Police Department.
