HOUSTON – A knife-wielding suspect in a loan store robbery was still on the loose Tuesday, and police are hoping the public can help identify him.
Investigators said the man went into a loan store in the 4700 block of the North Freeway around 2:33 p.m. on February 21, holding papers and inquiring about a loan.
But as he approached the clerk, police said he walked around the counter, put a large knife to the clerk’s neck and demanded money.
The clerk complied, and the suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.
