FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Two suspects arrested by sheriff’s deputies may be involved in as many as five burglary cases in Fort Bend and Harris counties.
The Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to multiple alarms Monday at a shopping center located in the 8400 block of FM 1464 in the Mission Oaks subdivision in the Richmond area.
Patrol deputies detained two suspects, identified as Dominique Moore, 24, and his girlfriend, Priscilla Perez, 22, both of Houston. A third suspect, identified as “White Boy D,” possibly Derrick, is still at large.
Deputies found Perez in a vehicle parked across the street from the shopping center. It was not long that Moore showed up. Both suspects were placed under arrest following an interrogation by a detective with the sheriff’s office.
Deputies found a television in the vehicle, which the suspects could not account for. Deputies also discovered that someone had broken into Gloryland Daycare and Taqueria Azteca in the shopping center.
The suspects have been tied to three burglary cases in Fort Bend County and at least two cases in Harris County.
Moore and Perez each face two counts of burglary of a building and attempted burglary of a building.
Moore remains in the Fort Bend County Jail with bonds totaling $35,000. Perez remains in jail under two bonds with a total $6,000.
Anyone who has information on “White Boy D” is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477) or Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 281-341-4665.
