Composite sketch of burglary suspect who fled on 10-speed bike released

HOUSTON—Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department have released a composite sketch of a suspect who burglarized a home, and fled on a 10-speed bike, on September 4.

The suspect entered the back yard of a home in the 800 block of Wavecrest Lane and broke a window to gain entry shortly before 11 a.m.

While inside, the suspect took various jewelry pieces, computers and electronics.

An alert neighbor confronted suspect as he left the home, causing the suspect to drop a television and run. The suspect fled on a black, 10-speed mountain bike, according to police.

The suspect is said to be in his late twenties, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs between 175 and 185 pounds. He has short black hair and a medium complexion.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspect in this case.
