HOUSTON—The Houston FBI bank robbery task force is trying to track down a man who robbed a Compass Bank in northwest Houston Thursday morning.
Authorities said a man wearing a blue cap, black polo shirt and blue jeans entered the bank in the 1200 block of W. 43rd Street around 9:30 a.m. and passed a threatening note to the teller.
The robber took the cash and fled the scene on foot.

Witnesses said the man was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds.
