AUSTIN – Law enforcement agents arrested one of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives Friday in Spring.
Gus Matthew Soto, 27, was a Texas Syndicate gang member who had a long criminal history and was wanted for aggravated robbery with a firearm and parole violation.
An investigation led authorities to a Spring residence where Soto was arrested without incident.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation and capture, including U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
So far, this year DPS and other agencies, have arrested 15 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including six gang members.
