FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Authorities were searching Wednesday for suspects who forced their way inside a home and ransacked the place.
Deputies said three armed suspects broke into a house on Rivercoach Lane in the New Territory subdivision, about a block from the city limits of Sugar Land, around 12 p.m.
Deputies said the suspects bound a male and female victim inside before grabbing firearms and electronics.
Authorities said the male victim freed himself, grabbed a gun and fired several shots.
The three uninjured suspects fled the scene.
Deputies said one of the suspects has since been identified as 25-year-old Rafael Juarez-Rosas, who’s been charged with aggravated robbery.
The other two suspects are described as having medium builds and are between 30 and 40 years old.
Anyone with information on Rosas’ or the other two suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (281)-342-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to arrests.
