ANGLETON, Texas—Three teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of a 69-year-old Angleton homeowner, according to Angleton police.
Investigators said 18-year-old Justin Wilson, 17-year-old Kenneth Anthony and a 15-year-old were wearing bandanas when they knocked on Guadalupe Garcia’s door in the 300 block of Rogers around 10 p.m. Monday.
Investigators said the teens intended to rob the homeowner, but ended up getting into an altercation with him at the door. That is when Wilson pulled out a weapon and shot Garcia once in the chest, according to police. All three teens fled the scene.
Garcia was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators followed leads and tips which led them to the suspects.
Wilson has been charged with aggravated robbery and murder, and Anthony has been charged with aggravated robbery.
The juvenile has been charged burglary of habitation.
Investigators said two of the teens are suspects in another home invasion which happened March 14.
That case is still under investigation.
