HOUSTON -- Crime Stoppers and Houston Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s help solving a Hit and Run that paralyzed a 67-year-old man.
It happened on Feb. 7 at approximately 4:15 p.m. as the victim was riding his bicycle eastbound on Southmore Blvd. at the intersection of the South Freeway Service Rd.
Police said he was struck by a champagne or beige colored SUV traveling southbound on the South Freeway service road. The driver turned eastbound onto Southmore Blvd and struck the victim, seriously injuring him.
The vehicle is described as a 1990 to 2005 champagne or beige SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe.
