HOUSTON -- Houston police are advising people to be cautious about walking alone in the River Oaks area after a man said he was robbed.
Two vehicles pulled up to a man Monday night as he was walking his dog in the 3800 block of Chevy Chase, police said.
Police said three men got out of the vehicles and then robbed the man.
One man was carrying a baseball bat and another claimed he had a gun, police said.
The men could be behind at least two other robberies that happened around the same time in the River Oaks area, investigators said.
