Some very heavy rain is moving in off the Gulf this Thursday morning. Thunderstorms are dropping rain at a rate of more than 2" per hour along the north and west side of Galveston bay. Deer Park, La Port, Shore Acers, Seabrook all getting heavy rain now and heavy rain developing near NASA, Clear Lake and Galveston county may cause ponding on roadways, feeder roads, exits and entrances to the Gulf freeway.
