HOUSTON – Drivers and Metro rail riders should be aware of some big closures this weekend.
The westbound lanes of Interstate-10 at Waco near downtown will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for bridge repair.
You’ll want to take an alternate route or you’ll be detoured to the frontage road.
Also, all Metro rails will be shut down from 7:45 p.m. Friday until 12 a.m. Monday for work on the new light rail lines downtown.
