HOUSTON—Crews were working in Seabrook Wednesday to repair a gas leak on State Highway 146 that was causing traffic backup.
It happened in the 3400 block of State Highway 146.
The southbound main lanes were shut down and traffic was being detoured at Red Bluff. The northbound main lanes remained open.
Firefighters tested the air and said the gas levels were safe, but that it would take several more hours to finish repairing the line.
