HOUSTON – Plans are underway for a major freeway improvement that could save area drivers time during their commute. TxDOT has announced plans to build a ramp connecting Highway 290 inbound to Interstate 10. According to officials, the project would give drivers direct access to Interstate 10 from Highway 290, basically removing Highway 610 from the process.
