HOUSTON -- It's a problem Houston drivers tell us about every day -- potholes tearing up cars. After hearing from one driver, we worked with the city to help repair a potentially-dangerous problem spot near the Galleria.
Jason Wong is fed up with the potholes he was accustomed to driving over on his way to work. "In the morning, every day when I drive by here, when I turn, there are potholes over there," he explained pointing to the problem spots on Sage Road, just north of San Felipe.
He believes those potholes were a danger to him and other drivers. "So I could hit the oncoming traffic, or the other one can hit me, and that actually happens two or three times trying to dodge the traffic over there so it's a hazard, it's a driving hazard."
So he emailed us to see if we could get something done. We reached out to Houston public works, and they came out and filled the potholes. Problem solved! "It's smooth, I can run over those patches, no problem, I don't have to do my tricks any more," Wong explained.
Now, driving has become a little easier for Wong and other travellers hoping to beat the traffic near the Galleria.
