Don’t plan on taking the Rail this weekend -- METRORail service will be suspended to build a bridge for Texas Children’s Hospital in the Medical Center. Construction will require lane closures on Fannin.
The closures will be in effect at 8:00 PM Friday, April 16 to 2:00 PM Sunday, April 18. During the closure, METRO will run rail shuttle bus service on the following schedule:
Friday, April 16:
8 - 9 p.m. – 10-minute frequency
9 p.m. - 2 a.m. – 12-minute frequency
Saturday, April 17:
5:15 a.m. - 9 p.m. – 6-minute frequency
9 p.m. - 2 a.m. – 10-minute frequency
Sunday, April 18:
5:15 a.m. - 2 p.m. – 6-minute frequency
