The other mother in the group, 32-year-old LuLu loves babies, but isn’t always the most attentive mother. Occasionally she needs help raising her offspring, which is why Lucy stepped in as surrogate mother when LuLu’s daughter Annie was born. She is mother to three of the younger chimps, Annie, Sallie, and Willie.
