PORTER, Texas – A Conroe woman has been reunited with her beloved horse that was stolen in Porter last Friday.

Houston police found Kat Tuesday tied up in a muddy northeast Houston field with other horses. The owner said someone dropped Kat off earlier in the week.

She had no food or water, but owner Anita Lee said she looks good, other than being a little thinner.

Kat was stolen from the parking lot of Tractor Supply after Lee stopped there to pick up a few things. When she came back out minutes later, her pickup, horse trailer and horse were gone.

Surveillance video showed a green or blue four-door car pull in front of the truck. The passenger got out and both the car and truck were seeing leaving the parking lot.

The truck and trailer are still missing.

The truck is a 2006 white Ford 250 4x4 with license plate BP75282. The horse trailer is off-white with license plate DYZH70. It has a Texas decal on the back.

Anyone with information about this case should call Montgomery County Precinct 4 or the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
