GALVESTON, Texas — Two rabbits snatched from a bed-and-breakfast were returned to the bunny sanctuary, the innkeeper said Tuesday.
Friday, Galveston police released video surveillance of two men seen walking into the backyard of A Victorian Bed and Breakfast Inn, 511 17th St., after the $400 rabbits were reported missing July 14.
Innkeeper Marcy Hanson said G.G. and Muffin were returned Monday night. One of the men who took the bunnies called Hanson shortly after a 6 p.m. Monday broadcast of the incident on television saying they wanted to return the rabbits, Hanson said.
“They flagged down a lady walking her dog in the East End and asked her to bring them back,” Hanson said. “They are fine.”
