GALVESTON – A big alligator was captured near Galveston’s East Beach Wednesday morning.
It was spotted in the middle of Boddecker Road near Apffel Park.
The gator, about six feet long, was captured by Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Antone Jackson III and City of Galveston Animal Control officer Leroy Cooper.
They planned to relocate it to a more remote location near LaMarque.
