In the spring a young cat's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love, and unless that cat's been neutered the result is kittens – lots and lots of kittens! BARC is overflowing with cats and kittens, so if this season finds you in the mood for love come on down to BARC and adopt one of our furry friends. Don't forget, BARC's new cat adoption building is open and features lots of bright open spaces for you to meet the kitties.

Click here to meet this week's BARC STARZ!

Interested in becomding a foster for BARC?  BARC will hold its first annual foster orientation Saturday, May 1, from 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM. If you would like to attend, RSVP to:  BARCfoster@cityofhouston.net, or visit BARC's website http://www.houstonbarc.com  for more information.

HAPPY TAILS

Once again you came through for us and many animals in desperate need were saved over the past week!

Francis the dog with two different colored eyes, and Ladybug the brindle chihuahua were adopted together at Wags to Whiskers family adoption day at BARC last saturday.  We love to see two friends go home together!

Five month old Cowboy was also adopted last Saturday at one of our Petsmart locations.

Happy rottie-mix Boomer was adopted at BARC!

Tennis ball fan Beauty went to Buster's Friends rescue and is still available for adoption at their Highland Village location.

Kitties Carrie, Jonah, Shiloh and Ray were rescued and will be available for adoption at Petsmart.
