The Wildlife Center of Texas, Houston's only trauma hospital that accepts all injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife, is thrilled to invite the public and the media to the release of two rehabilitated red-tailed hawks.
One of the hawks was found emaciated at NASA with a head injury. The second red-tailed hawk arrived at The Center at the end of September 2013 suffering from a fractured wing. After months of rehabilitation that included physical therapy, both hawks are now ready to be released back into their native habitat.
The release of these two red-tailed hawks will be a rare video and photo opportunity and The Wildlife Center of Texas looks forward to having everyone attend.
