Eight is the magic number this weekend! While the professional bull-riders are wowing RodeoHouston fans with their 8-second rides, the Houston SPCA brings you our “8 For 8 Kitty Round Up” adoption promotion!
To celebrate Go Texan weekend, from Friday, February 24th through Sunday, February 26th, all cats 8 months and older will be available for an adoption fee of ONLY $8! Approved adopters will be able to spend as much time as they want getting to know their potential new family members in our private “get acquainted” rooms here at the shelter. We have so many different kittens and cats, each with his or her unique personality and background. And, all of our feline friends here at the Houston SPCA do share one thing in common: the desire to find his or her purrfect family!
To celebrate 8 as we kick off the Rodeo, we are reducing the adoption fee to $8 for any kitten or cat who is at least 8 months old. Our normal cat adoption fees range from $65 to $75, and we give our adopters and their new addition a comprehensive package is that worth well over $400.
In order to help you start off on the right paw, here is what your new feline family member will receive as a part of this stellar adoption package:
•A health evaluation, initial vaccinations and rabies vaccinations for felines (standard for 3 months and older)
•Spay / neuter surgery
•Microchipping with free lifetime registration
•One complimentary overall wellness examination provided by VCA Animal Hospitals
•One free bag of dog / cat food courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet
•And of course, A friend for life!

The Houston SPCA is the only local shelter open seven days a week with the most convenient evening and weekend hours to make choosing the adoption option as easy as possible. Visit us Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
