Extraordinary artist. Extraordinary philanthropist. With artwork housed in the collections of Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Rivers, Tony LaRussa, Doc Severinsen…all animal lovers and art enthusiasts. For almost 20 years, Ron Burns has dedicated both his personal and his professional life to helping lost, abandoned and lonely animals find loving forever homes. As a constant philanthropist, Ron donates his time, talents and artwork to various animal welfare organizations across the country and tirelessly works to develop programs to help not-for-profits raise money through the sales of extraordinary artwork.

In the spirit of partnering with animal welfare organizations, the artist and Ms. Mimi Sperber, principal of the Off The Wall Gallery located in Houston’s famed Galleria, are generously donating a portion of the exhibition’s proceeds to the Houston SPCA. “We share the same vision,” remarks Ron Burns, ”to spread the word that there are thousands of wonderful shelter animals looking for a home. If my magical paintings and portraits that I create over the years can help even one more animal, one more shelter, I am gratified.”

The Houston SPCA, founded in 1924, is Houston’s first and largest animal protection organization and shelter. Their Mission is to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. The Houston SPCA is a private, non-profit charity, funded entirely by donations, which receives no funding from the Government, United Way or national animal groups.

This magnificent exhibition is not to be missed, and the opportunity for the people of Houston to meet Ron Burns and to become collectors of the finest and highly-curated collection of his work is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
