Spring is officially in season which means many adorable, forget-me-not felines need furever homes at the Houston SPCA.  During the entire month of April, approved adopters can take home any cat or kitten with a hint of gray for half off the normal adoption fee.  The options are limitless, from tiger stripes, tabby’s, smokey grays, blue grays, and even kitties with just one gray hair will all be half price!  You can also brighten up your life and adopt two touch of gray felines for the price of one.

There are so many wonderful felines to choose from like the very suave and friendly Hamilton whose been searching for a home since December of 2009. There’s beautiful Bluebell whose sweeter than cream, huggable Butterball who loves to snuggle and Ruby who sparkles brighter than any jewel in the world.  Remember, when you adopt an animal from the Houston SPCA, you are saving a life and giving a homeless animal a second chance.

All felines from the Houston SPCA will receive the following before heading to their furever homes:

• A health evaluation; initial vaccinations; rabies vaccinations for felines 3 months and older

• Spay / neuter surgery

• Deworming; feline leukemia testing

• Microchipping with free lifetime registration; and of course a friend for life!

• As an added bonus, VCA Animal Hospitals will provide a complimentary overall wellness examination (within five days after adoption) and complimentary 14-day follow-up care for certain conditions to give your pet the very best in medical care.

• One free bag of cat food courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet.
