HOUSTON—The Houston SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects responsible for setting a stray cat on fire.
The SPCA found the injured cat Thursday on Dewalt Street in north Houston.
The cat, which is believed to be about two to three years old, suffered extensive burns on her back, head and ears.
The cat was in stable condition, but faces a lengthy rehabilitation, SPCA officials said.
