Jacqueline Crea grew up in Los Angeles, California and graduated from the University of California, San Diego.

While in college, she interned and worked as a free-lance writer at KNSD in San Diego. She also worked for an agent at Creative Artists Agency in Century City, California.

She then decided to pursue her passion for journalism and landed her first on-air job at KTSM, the NBC affiliate in El Paso, Texas. There, she was a one-man band, anchor, reporter and producer.

At KTSM, she reported on immigration issues, the violence in Juarez, and military life, including President Obama’s visit to Fort Bliss.

She started at KHOU 11 mid-January 2014.

Jacqueline is thrilled to be in Houston where she has family.
