Investigative Reporter Scott Noll joined the KHOU 11 News I-Team in April, 2012.
He brings more than a dozen years of news experience from a career that has taken him from Ohio to Michigan, Missouri to Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
Before moving to Houston, Scott was an investigative reporter at WREG-TV in Memphis, Tennessee. There, his investigations were honored with a number of awards including the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award. In addition, Scott was named Best Reporter by the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcaster’s Association.
He is a Northeast Ohio native, and a graduate of The Ohio State University. Scott and his wife are the proud parents of a son and daughter.

What is your favorite part of working in television news?
The people. And, no two days are ever the same.

Any major league baseball player

What are your favorite books?
Depends on my mood. Flowers for Algernon, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, A False Spring
What are your favorite foods?
Since I've worked all over the place, I have "regional favorites." Uncle Lou's Fried Chicken in Memphis, Pat's Mushroom Cheese Steak in Philadelphia, Lu's Pizza and Mr. Hero when I'm back in Ohio.
What kind of music do you like?
I listen to a little bit of everything

Skydive
What is one thing about you most people might be surprised by?
Before my career in TV, I used to spend my summers doing highway construction

Back home to Cleveland, Ohio (preferably in the summer!)
Where was your last vacation?
Galveston for Spring Break.

Sweet Tea
Do you have any siblings?
I have a younger brother who lives in Chicago

I’m just a regular guy who happens to work for a TV station
What is your favorite pastime?
Spending time with my family
What is your favorite car model?
It's got to be my first car, a 1981 Toyota Tercel hatchback. 65 horsepower, but durable.
Who is your hero?
My parents. Both of them were the first in their families to go to college and instilled the value of hard work in me.
If you had 1-million dollars, what would you do with it?
Pay bills, put some into my kids' college funds, and take a few weeks off
Did anyone inspire you in your life?
Every teacher, coach, professor and friend who ever believed in me. Thank you all.
Who would you most like to interview that you haven't yet?
A sitting president. I've interviewed presidential candidates, and covered presidential speeches, but never had a chance to interview one.

Tacos
