SpringSpirit Baseball hosts annual fundraiser

SpringSpirit Baseball hosted their third annual Breakfast for Champions Tuesday morning at the River Oaks Country Club with former MLB pitcher and cancer survivor Dave Dravecky as the guest speaker. The event is meant to help raise operating funds for SpringSpirit Baseball, a non-profit organization aimed at creating a community facility and programs benefiting underserved Spring Branch youth. KHOU 11 News Anchor Shern-min Chow served as the emcee, while current Texas Rangers and former Houston Astros baseball player Lance Berkman and his wife Cara served as honorary co-chairs for the event.
