HOUSTON – An elderly couple is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of their precious Peekapoo.

A thief stole the victims’ truck from a CVS parking lot near FM 1960 and Ella. Their 3-year-old Pekingnese-poodle mix named Honey was inside the truck.

The victims, ages 92 and 85, are newlyweds and Honey was the "flower girl" in their January wedding in Florida.

They were in Houston for a funeral and had stopped at the CVS to pick up a prescription.

They were horrified to come out of the store to find their truck -- and Honey -- were gone. When the victims called their missing cell phone, a man answered and demanded $100 for the dog's return.

Brandon Miles Vanwicklen was later arrested and charged with stealing the truck.

Honey still hasn’t been found. Investigators think Vanwicklen may have dumped her somewhere and a Good Samaritan rescued her and doesn’t realize her owners are desperately searching for her.

If you know anything about the case, please call 832-233-2286.
