HOUSTON – KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Gene Norman helped Houstonians prepare to weather upcoming storms Thursday during the Red Cross’s Preparedness on the Square event.
The annual safety fair was held in front of Houston City Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 901 Bagby Street. A large crowd gathered near the Reflecting Pond behind Houston City Hall for the event.
March is Red Cross Month so it was a great time to get prepared for spring storms and Hurricane Season, which starts in less than three months.
For $5 attendees spent time learning to prepare for emergencies, eating, listening to live music and playing games.
