HOUSTON—This Friday and Saturday, Interfaith Ministries is hosting is Fall Pet Food Drive to help home-bound seniors feed their dogs and cats.

Donations are necessary so that seniors don’t feel compelled to share their limited food and resources with their four-legged friends.

The drive is taking place from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday at 3217 Montrose Blvd.

Both wet and dry food is needed. Toys and treats will also be collected.

The program, aniMeals on Wheels, is a completely donation and volunteer-driven program delivering more than 7,000-pounds of dog and cat food to more than 400 seniors every month.
