SUGAR LAND -- Baseball fans headed to the ball park in Sugar Land Thursday night for the Skeeters home opener.

In the team’s second season, thousands of fans packed the stadium for opening night which is honoring a special boy nicknamed “Super Josh.”

Seven-year-old Joshua Cranfill has had three surgeries and 95 rounds of chemotherapy to fight cancer.

Joshua will throw out the first pitch.
