HOUSTON – Cougar fans who want tickets to Saturday’s sold out C-USA championship game will likely have to pay big bucks.

The Coogs compete against Southern Miss in an attempt to go 13-0 for the first time in team history.

The game at Robertson Stadium was sold out by Monday afternoon.

At 713-Tickets in Houston Tuesday, fans flooded the office with calls.

"The demand is so much, it’s just people who’ve got them they know how valuable they really are," said company president Kent Maree. "So they just hold on to them and ask their price for them, and they’re usually gonna get it."

Prices on ticket broker websites ranged from $70 to nearly $300 on Tuesday.

For those who don’t want to shell out the cash, former Cougar and NFL player Audray McMillan said fans can still join in on the fun, "Every tailgate, we expect capacity crowds and everyone in Houston is welcomed to come out and have a great time and enjoy this exciting time for the University of Houston," said McMillian, who has a son on the current Cougar roster.
