HOUSTON - Just a few months ago, Houston firefighter Aaron Bond was overcome by heat and dehydration while battling a stubborn warehouse fire.

Bond has not only recovered from that scare, he’s preparing for a worldwide competition against other firefighters and police officers.

That competition is part of the 2013 World Police and Fire Games in Belfast, Ireland where Bond will compete for the title of Toughest Competitor Alive.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Matt Musil has the story KHOU 11 Sports.
