KHOU My Fit Foods Cycling Team rolling for MS150

The KHOU MY FIT FOODS CYCLING TEAM has the distinction of being the only one in Houston comprised mainly of working members of the media.  Most of the team members work at KHOU, Ch. 11. WE STAND FOR HOUSTON as we annually do our part to raise money and awareness of Multiple Sclerosis.

Team members ride most every weekend in Houston and in surrounding rural areas.  We ride to train for the big ride in keep physically enjoy nature...and to have fun! Some of us are very fast. Some of us are slow. All of us are determined to complete the 2013 MS 150 marathon bike ride from Houston to Austin--177 miles!

For the second year, My Fit Foods is the official sponsor of the KHOU cycling team. The company has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting healthy living in our community. My Fit Foods’ ready-to-eat, freshly prepared take-home meals are a great way to SLIM DOWN and improve your health! Plus, they taste Yummy!

Let’s face it, you can ride a bike all you want and you can run marathons too, but if you are not eating healthy meals, your body will not look or feel its best.

A Word About MS

Multiple sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease that affects people in many ways. It could be paralysis one day, loss of vision the next or impaired memory the day after that. Someone in America is newly diagnosed every hour of every day with MS.

MS Society funds go toward research aimed at treating and eventually CURING MS. The Society also provides services for those living with MS.
