HOUSTON – One hundred and fifty Houston kids who grew up in foster care were honored Thursday for reaching a milestone.

The teenagers were recognized for graduating from high school and aging out of the foster care system.

KHOU 11 News Reporter Jeff McShan was the master of ceremonies at the event.

Several of the graduates planned to go on to college, some were joining the military and others have already gotten jobs.
