The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (HHCC) is the leading regional advocate for the economic and civic interests of the Hispanic business community. HHCC represents over 2,800 members, making this Hispanic chamber the largest one in Texas.
The Chamber was founded on March 2, 1977 by a group of prominent Hispanic businesspeople. Today, it represents small business members as well as corporations of Houston; and has a professional staff, a Board of Directors, Committees and a Corporate Advisory Board.
The main purpose of HHCC is to promote and encourage business growth and development among both Hispanic and mainstream businesses. From a start-up business to a large corporation, the Chamber has something to offer everyone. It is dedicated to keeping its members connected to the pulse of business opportunities in one of the fastest growing cities in the country.
Through both monthly and annual events, Chamber members and non-members get the opportunity to network while they do business with each other.
Regular events include a monthly new member orientation, a monthly networking and business development breakfast, and professional services seminars. Annual events include an Annual Membership/Corporate Sponsors' Luncheon and Business Expo, and TRIUNFANDO, the largest Hispanic gala in Houston.
