HOUSTON – More than 1,500 business men and women attended the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce luncheon Thursday at the Hilton-Americas in downtown.

It is the largest gathering of its kind in the city. U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, discussed how the Republican Party can better engage Hispanics, while Dr. Mark L. Boom, president and CEO of Methodist Hospital, talked about how Obamacare will impact businesses.

KHOU 11 was a proud sponsor of the event.
