HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department honored Gerald “Jerry” Cormier Friday night.
The officer is retiring after 41 years on the force.
In the 70s he was a founding member of Houston’s SWAT team.
His party was held at the Petroleum Club on top of the ExxonMobil building.
