HPD bike team raises money for leukemia patients with trek to Maine

HOUSTON—Members of the Houston Police Department will hop on bicycles and trek to Maine to raise money for leukemia.

The bike team went to M.D. Anderson Hospital Wednesday and met with some of the children they will be helping.

The event is a big thrill for the kids every year.

The relay team is made up of riders from HPD, the Richmond Police Department and workers from M.D. Anderson.
